Levibreton KG 4000 Flat Diamond -

Levibreton KG 4000 Flat Diamond has been specifically designed to level the slabs without calibrating them first, thus minimizing the diamond tool consumption and consequently the cost of transformation.
Since the measuring is performed on a stationary slab, it is possible for a laser unit, which is installed just before the Levibreton KG 4000 Flat Diamond polisher, to map the surface of each slab by pinpointing both the highest and the lowest point of the surface.
For each slab, the 6 diamond-roller levelling spindles MC-6 of the Levibreton KG 4000 Flat Diamond set automatically in sequence (mechanical and not pneumatic positioning) to the most convenient height depending on the removal capacity of each single MC/6 spindle, the distance between the highest and the lowest point of the surface and the preset working speed of the belt, thus making a significant contribution to the slab levelling.
The remaining pneumatic spindles, which are equipped with SG-8 heads featuring 8 oscillating bricks, also contribute to get a better levelling of the slab surface thanks to both the greater working diameter (510mm) and the 8 contact/working points of each head.

This results in perfectly levelled and polished slabs.

LEVIBRETON KG 4000 PLUS: A PRODUCTION PHILOSOPHY

Nowadays, the Levibreton KG 4000 PLUS polishing lines for granite are the best and most advanced solutions for companies requiring very high output combined with top quality and low production costs.
Breton was the first company to develop machines for continuous polishing of granite slabs, revolutionizing the field and today, thanks to its unrivalled years of experience, concepts like automation, production, top quality, user-friendliness, simple maintenance and low operating costs are quite familiar to Breton, who has expertly applied them to the outstanding Levibreton KG 4000 PLUS

The Levibreton KG worldwide success: more than 1300 machines produced until today, with near 100% customer satisfaction.
The new design of the aluminium-alloy honing-polishing units allows their weight to be reduced and their stiffness to be increased.
The arc-welded steel beam has a travel speed up to 80 m/min

The beam is fixed to two shoulders moving along two sturdy, cast-iron supports, which house hardened, ground and thick tracks with large diameter roller slides in an oil bath, and a micro pinion. The slideways are protected by stainless steel labyrinth seals.
The Levibreton KG 4000 PLUS polishing lines can mount the state-of-the-art SG/8 Breton heads, with 8 oscillating bricks, 510 mm diameter, oil bath type or the traditional SG/6 Breton heads, with 6 oscillating bricks, 460 mm diameter, oil bath type.

The SG/8 heads are based on the highly successful SG/6 head project but have been adapted for 8 bricks and offer the following advantages:
HIGHER OUTPUT owing to the greater number of operating sectors (152 bricks for a Levibreton KG 4000 PLUS polishing machine with 19 SG/8 heads as opposed to 126 bricks for a unit with 21 6-brick heads)
BETTER HONING owing to the greater diameter of the heads (510 mm for the SG/8 as opposed to 460 mm for the 6-brick heads)
ENERGY-SAVING: (285kW for a Levibreton KG 4000 PLUS polishing machine with 19 SG/8 heads as opposed to 315kW for a polishing machine with 21 6-brick heads).
