Tilbreton DA Head cut-off machine for marble and granite

The Tilbreton DA is an head cut-off machine to squarely head off marble and granite strips to a reduced or predetermined length.

The work table with free-moving rollers is equipped with a tabulator for cutting the pieces to the desired length.

The spindle unit, sliding on special chromium-plated steel cylindrical guides, is moved by an oleodynamic piston controlled by a motor-pump unit.  

The rapid-return cycle is completely automatic. 

 
The electric cabinet conforming to IP 55 protection, contains all the control devices in low voltage. 

On request, the machine can be equipped with pneumatic pushers for aligning the strips against the straight-edge.

Levibreton EUREKA cuts the Scrap

The Levibreton EUREKA is designed to incorporate a series of MIRAGE heads and SG8 oscillating brick heads..

The MIRAGE head is equipped with 6 inclined axis tapered diamond tools offering exceptionally high removal rates. The head rotates at low speed (240 rpm), while the diamond discs spin at 2,800 rpm, allowing the tools to reach a peripheral velocity of 30 m/s: the optimal speed for granite machining.

The MIRAGE head operates under pneumatic pressure and is assisted by a back-pressure system, an inverter and a mechatronic system responsible for defining the maximum down feed of the head.

Establishing the machining position and operating the MIRAGE heads at their maximum material removal rate, Levibreton EUREKA calibrates slabs to the required thickness.

Calibrating functions aside, the MIRAGE heads work also as polishing heads and the downstream SG8 oscillating heads complete the levelling and polishing operations.

Levibreton EUREKA CUTS THE SCRAP... one machine to perform completely independent machining operations:

- CALIBRATING,
